Preview ‘Road,’ the New Alice Cooper Album, Before it Lands in Full on 8/25; On Tour Now
This Friday, Aug. 25, Alice Cooper will add to his legacy with Road, a brand new studio album that the legendary rocker created with his touring band — a.k.a., the skilled musicians he sees on the road, so to speak.
Here’s a handy preview of the album in the form of a few seconds of each track, as shared by Cooper recently:
“For Road, I wanted the band to be involved in the foundation of all the songs,” said Alice Cooper in a statement. “I only see these guys when we’re on the road. So, I wanted them to be as tight as they are for the show but on all new material. When you have a band this good, I believe in showing it off, and this is my way of doing so.”

The album was produced by Cooper’s longtime collaborator Bob Ezrin and written, composed and recorded with his trusted, longtime band: Ryan Roxie [guitar], Chuck Garric [bass], Tommy Henrikson [guitar], Glen Sobel [drums], and Nita Strauss [guitar].

Alice Cooper and his band are preparing for a heavy few months of touring, both headlining performances and a co-headlining run with Rob Zombie.
The shows October 3-23 will be “An Evening With,” and he closes out the month October 25, 26 & 28 with three co-headlining “Halloween Hootenanny” shows with Rob Zombie. This follows his six shows with Mötley Crüe and Def Leppard, along with six of his own “Evening With” shows August 5-22, followed by a month long co-headline “Freaks on Parade” tour with Rob Zombie August 24-September 24.
