HUNTINGTON, WV -The Godfather of Shock Rock took the stage by storm in Huntington, WV Wednesday night.

Alice Cooper put on his giant top hat and twirled his cane as the curtain dropped, strutted across the stage and belted out a great show at Big Sandy Superstore Arena.

The world-famous singer has been going for nearly five decades, taking his macabre stage act to fans of all ages.

With Halloween getting closer, the show made for a night of spooky entertainment complete with straight jackets, live snakes, and a guillotine.

Alice has recorded many hits over the years including “I’m Eighteen”, “No More Mister Nice Guy”, and “Poison”.

He and his band reached out to veterans by offering them free tickets to the show.

“I enjoy it and Alice is great because he lets the veterans in for free and he don’t owe us nothing, but at least he thinks about us and everything like that” said Billy Murphy of South Charleston, WV.

Despite chilly temperatures, a great crowd turned out for the show.
