Alice Cooper proves tough act to follow at Ak-Chin Pavilion but Deep Purple manage

Great to be home in Phoenix last night!

Check out azcentral's review here - http://www.azcentral.com/story/entertainment/music/2017/08/15/alice-cooper-deep-purple-ak-chin-pavilion/561656001/

It can't be easy following what Alice Cooper has to offer, but Deep Purple did their best with a mixture of classic-rock staples and dazzling chops.

HEY STOOPID REVISITED

Hey Stoopid will be rereleased on September 23rd, 2013!

(hennemusic.com) – Alice’s 19th studio release was produced by Peter Collins, famed for his work with Rush and Queensyrche, among many others. The album featured three hit singles: the title track, “Love’s A Loaded Gun” and “Feed My Frankenstein” (the latter was performed in the 1992 comedy movie Wayne’s World, in which Alice also starred).  The 1991 album, “Hey Stoopid”, will be reissued on September 23.

The 2013 reissue will feature three bonus tracks, including “Hey Stoopid (Beba edit)”, “It Rained All Night”, and a cover of Jimi Hendrix’s “Fire.”

Joining Alice on the album were drummer Mickey Curry, guitarist Stef Burns and bassist Hugh McDonald, along with a series of special guests including Slash, Joe Satriani, Vinnie Moore and Steve Vai, Motley Crue’s Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars (who co-wrote “Die For You”), plus Ozzy Osbourne providing backing vocals on the album’s title track. Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, provided the spoken word part on “Feed My Frankenstein”, a song co-written by Zodiac Mindwarp.

Alice recently announced a series of fall dates as part of his Raise The Dead tour.

The October/November US shows start October 13 in Part Chester, NY and run to the end of November on the west coast. New dates added check http://alicecooper.com/tour-terror for details
