Alice Cooper at Hollywood Bowl picked as a top show of 2014

Alice Cooper @ Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood CA, 07/21: “Even though the headliner for this event put on an absolutely horrendous performance, support act Alice Cooper was the only saving grace for all the unfortunate souls that spent their hard-earned money to attend the show, and by virtue of a short but typically righteous set, the shock rock legend finds himself near the top of this list. Even at his age, he continues to belt out fierce vocals and enjoys the company of some excellent musicians that comprise his band who help him put on a show of timeless class. The undisputed king of cinematic rock at his best.” – See the rest of the list at: metalassault.com

I agree w/James Dean – Alice just gets better every time I see him! I was fortunate enough to see 2 shows in 2014, at the Bob Hope Theater in Stockton and in Mtn.View last summer opening the Crue show. Even got to throw the balloons during “School’s Out” in Mtn. View – something I’ll NEVER forget! What a great time it was! Thanks Alice! You’re the greatest!

To Metal Assault: I respectfully disagree to agree (to a degree). It’s too bad you made a decision based on one show. I did not attend this show but I saw this combo 4 times this year and the “headliner” indoor gigs were a lot more impressive than the outdoor shows.(I noticed a few kinks but realized that the sacrifices had to be made) If you could have seen one of Alice’s solo shows, you may have ranked it as number one on your list. The Valley Center concert on thanksgiving weekend was fantastic!
    Thanks for letting me share.
